1U Rackmount iSCSI Target (RAID Storage)

Intorduction

#SMA-111 series is a family of Gigabit Ethernet-based iSCSI Storage
Area Network (SAN) targe storage systems. These storage appliances
are designed to form the fundation for building cost-effective, easy-
to-manage iSCSI SANs for small/medium-sized business & remote offices.
They provide a shared pool of reliable, high-performance storage
capacity by connecting to new or existing Ethernet infrastructures,
enabling organizations to centralize storage across email, web, file,
and database servers and workstations.

Specification

#SMA-111 is packaged in 1U, 19" rackmount enclosure (with rails
included) and features 4 front-accessible drive bays with locking
canisters.

* ATA/100 10,00rpm support
  Supports up to four ATA/100 or SATA hard drives from Maxtor
  10,000rpm drives
* Hot-swappable hard drives
* Front Panel LEDS & Power Button
  Front panel LEDs provide visual indication of the foolowing:
  System Power, iSCSI Port Status, management Port Status, Hard Drive
  Power and Status, Power Supply Status, Fan Status and Temperature
  Status. There is also a power button.
* Redundant Power Supply
  250W Dual-redundant power supplies, which are hot-swappable, are
  built in to the unit. Each power supply has its own 220V power cable
  included
* GigEiSCSI Port
  One Gigabit Ethernet copper RJ-45 iSCSI port is provided
* Management Port
  One 10/100 Ethernet copper RJ-45 management port is provided
* Rapid Flashbased Boot
  The product will boot from an internal flash disk.  Boot time will
  take less than 90 seconds.
* Headless Operation
  The product will be exclusively designed for headless operation and
  will not ea=nable the direct attachment of a monitor, keyboard or
  mouse.
* Default IP Address
  The product will always have a default management IP address of
  192.168.2.10 set at the factory
* Bundled Cables and Rails
  The product will be bundled with two power cables, two 5 meter J-45
  Ethernet cables, one 5 meter cross-over cable, rails for rack
  mounting into a standard 19" rack
